First off, the evolution process is much different to the one featured in Pokemon, meaning that newcomers might find themselves lost at how the evolution actually works. Its one of those games that you can stop playing and come back to and start again and its just as fun as when you first started.But behind the visual pleasure, Digimon World is a tough grind that may surprise players, especially younger ones. (but that also explains why it is so expensive, its pretty rare nowadays).ĭefinitely worth the price, this game will continue to entertain. Its a shame they don't remake games exactly how they once were only with better graphics. Regardless of the physical condition of my game, this game is one of the best games ever. I bought it because my old copy is getting too old or something because it freezes on the Playstation screen and in several parts of the game where it loads a new screen (it has the old black back, so PS2 has trouble reading it sometimes, but even when I tried it on PS it wouldn't cooperate more). There are still things that I haven't found as of yet and I still have yet to beat it because its so vast. I have played it since I was a kid and I have always been a fan of Digimon since I first watched it on T.V. It is very mysterious, leaving many things up to your decision and thus there are many things that are in the game to explore. This game is one of the best games you could possibly play.

The main one-player mode on Digimon World is where the mysterious story unfolds as you raise your immature Digimon. A victorious battle permits them to return home to the abandoned File Island. It is your goal to roam the dangerous countryside with your trained Digimon battling other lost Digimon. Most Digimon originally called File Island home, but for some unknown reason over time they lost the ability to speak and now live a nomadic lifestyle.
